Given the increasing interest in Human Factors questions with Healthcare IT clinical applications, Evalab the usability lab of the University Hospital & School of Medicine, Lille, France and the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, USA, are organizing a joint IMIA EFMI workshop and conference from 22nd to 24th May 2006, in Lille, France.
The goal of the workshop is
1. To welcome newcomers and support their efforts in creating a team
competent in Human Factors Engineering and/or building a usability lab
2. To present methodologies and methods used for the study of
usability and acceptance of innovative information technologies
3. To bring together experts from different expertise areas, i.e.
Medical Informatics and Cognitive Ergonomics, and from different
countries to discuss on the state-of-the-art and to present new
perspectives of future developments
